The momma and son shots: Milo @ 1 month: This was supposed to be my "40 weeks pregnant" picture but the day this photo was taken was actually my due date (8/14/08). Yes, he came a wee bit early! And then us the other day @ 7 months. I look a bit more awake ya think? I love that you can see his arm around my shoulder in the mirror...Still amazes me that he was born with all that black hair and now he's a blonde peach fuzzy kind of guy.

And here, we had just brought Milo home...so maybe he is a couple days old? And now he has graduated to the back pack....*tear*

No time like the present...

to teach a growing boy how to swiffer! The other night I was swiffin' away the (pain in the ass to keep clean) hardwood floor. Milo was chasing me around, laughing hysterically. "Oh, this is funny? Here ya go, it's your turn!" Next week: sorting laundry...

tick tock, tick tock: 7 months!

So I thought I would add the last pic of me pregnant. This was a self-portrait taken 5 days before Milo popped the pinata and dropped his landing gear. Justin and I were on our way to Home Depot -buying paint for yet another home improvement project I was demanding (nesting, it's a bitch!). So here's another shot of Milo-man @ 1 week old. And since he can now sit independently, here he is in all his lengthy spine and strong abdomen glory! 7 months also marks the breaking in of the 5th tooth...yeah, 5 teeth! Biting, mouthing, drooling, red cheekin', up at random times in the night to cry teethin' heathin'!!!

Granny and the walker

Milo's got a new toy: the Walker....we're using it for the inbetween time -he can almost crawl but not quite...this little contraption helps him w/ that frustration and expresses all that energy....He was a little weirded out by it at first, but he's starting to enjoy having a bit more freedom. And, yes, another high chair pic...hahaha

Beach Time

What can I say -I LOVE living near the beach...even if it is only the Chesapeake Bay...Last weekend was beautiful so we packed up Little Man and took many over-exposed pictures of the little guy!

We recently went to renew our military id cards...Milo did a great job keeping his cool despite the 45 minute wait...
