So I finally ponied (sp?) up and bought a gate that isn't ridiculously cumbersome. Milo finds this a genius move...

Ah, more toys....what happened to my living room? As the infant accessories get moved to the basement, in their place the toddler toys move in...But still, mom and dad are his favorites..

So this floaty thing is pretty cool, but it takes a lot of work to kick my feet and move around! A little swimming is relaxing...

Pool time!

Milo and I ventured out to a nearby pool. His first time in a super-big bathtub minus the bubbles! He was appropriately cautious in and around the water, but I think with time he'll be splashing and screaming up a storm!

Surprise Baby Shower in B-more

After months of lies and trickory, operation Emmy Belly was a success! The hubby and I took a day trip up to B-more for a deceptively simple brunch with two of my former co-workers...Unbeknownest to Emmy we were there not only to rub her growing buddha (32 weeks!) but to get her out of the house so her hubby can round up the 20+ people to surprise her with a baby shower! Cheers to you Weathers Family! Can't wait to meet Camden Craig!

Calvert Cliffs

Here are a couple of shots of the famous duo at the nearby Calvert Cliffs Park. We hiked 2 miles to the beach and back (read: 4 miles!) Not an easy feet, but Milo, my little trooper loved the adventure!

Today we attended a 2 for 1 Bday for our friends Makaela and Nicolas! Friends gathered to celebrate their first year! Here are some highlights:

Milo, the dog whisperer....

A line up with most of the kiddos (minus a couple). Makaela and all her men-folk. I see a future president at the head of this table!

So Milo has quickly reached the moving furniture around stage. If it moves, then it needs to be moved by Little Easy. Here are a couple shots of him moving around this stand-up toy thing and his high chair...clear across the room! He is getting a tad closer everyday to walking independently. At this point, he can stand alone for a few seconds...what I call the "surfer stance." Then he plops down on a well-padded bum and crawls on...

Milo and the Gouda-cat have become close friends. Gouda is actually pretty tolerant of the baby grasping her tail...Milo finds Gouda hysterical and will easily follow her around the house!
